JM Phlebotomy provides a home visit service in and around the East of England, covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Travel expenses will be calculated from my base near Saffron Walden, Essex.

Private blood tests

As a mobile phlebotomist I am able to carry out a home blood test requested by a practitioner, or those you have ordered from online laboratories. These tests can be carried out in the comfort of your own home or place of work. 

Paediatric blood test

I can offer paediatric phlebotomy for those under the age of 16 requiring a mobile blood test. Undergoing such a test can be an unsettling event for children and those who care for them, but in my experience having a blood sample taken at home in familiar surroundings certainly helps reduce any anxiety or fear.  Without the appointment constraints of a busy clinic I am able to take my time to ensure the child is relaxed and happy. Centrifuge

When a test requires a sample of serum or plasma, laboratories often request that the sample be centrifuged in order to achieve accurate test results. I am able to provide a straightforward blood centrifuge service which allows me to spin, separate and harvest serum, plasma or buffy coat in your own home.

Venesection

There are varying reasons why someone might be referred for venesection.  Also known as therapeutic phlebotomy, venesection is used to remove a measured amount of blood in order to help control conditions such as polycythemia vera (PV), hereditary hemochromatosis and porphyria cutenea tarda (PCT), and similarly used in hormone therapies such as testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
